สี จิ้นผิง ทุ่ม 6.4 หมื่นล้าน - วันที่ 18 พ.ค. ไชน่าเดลี รายงานว่า ประธานาธิบดีสี จิ้นผิง ผู้นำจีน กล่าวในวันเปิด การประชุมสมัชชาสุขภาพโลก (WHA) ครั้งที่ 73 ผ่านทางวิดีโอลิงก์
โดยระบุว่าทางการจีนอนุมัติงบประมาณ 2,000 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ หรือราว 64,000 ล้านบาท เพื่อช่วยเหลือด้านเศรษฐกิจและการพัฒนสังคมในประเทศที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากโรคโควิด-19 นอกจากนี้ยังกล่าวว่าเมื่อจีนพัฒนาวัคซีนสำเร็จแล้ว จะเร่งดำเนินการผลิตออกสู่ระดับโลก และแจกจ่ายไปยังประเทศกำลังพัฒนา
ประธานาธิบดีสีย้ำว่าจีนมีความโปร่งใส เปิดกว้าง และพร้อมรับผิดชอบร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการต่อสู้ยับยั้งโรคโควิด-19 “เราให้ข้อมูลกับองค์การอนามัยโลก (WHO) และประเทศที่เกี่ยวข้อง เราแบ่งปันประสบการณ์ในการควบคุมและรักษาผู้ติดเชื้อ เราทำทุกอย่างในอำนาจของเราที่พอจะทำได้เพื่อสนับสนุนและช่วยเหลือประเทศที่ต้องการความช่วยเหลือ” นายสีกล่าว
China will provide 2 billion US dollars over two years to help with COVID-19 response and with economic and social development in affected countries, said Chinese President Xi Jinping via video link. REUTERS
