โควิด : นายกฯ ดัตช์รับผิด - วันที่ 19 ต.ค. บีบีซี รายงานว่า นายกรัฐมนตรีมาร์ก รึตเตอ แห่งเนเธอร์แลนด์ และรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงกิจการทั่วไปซึ่งมีหน้าที่ดูแลเกี่ยวกับการวางนโยบาย รวมทั้งราชวงศ์เนเธอร์แลนด์ แถลงว่าประเมินสถานการณ์ผิดพลาดกรณีไม่คัดค้านการเสด็จประพาสกรีซเพื่อท่องเที่ยวพักผ่อนเป็นการส่วนพระองค์ของ สมเด็พระราชาธิบดีวิลเลิม-อเล็กซานเดอร์ และ สมเด็จพระราชินีแม็กซิมา พระอัครมเหสี เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 16 ต.ค.ที่ผ่านมา
จนกลายเป็นกระแสวิพากวิจารณ์ เนื่องจากรัฐบาลเพิ่งประกาศใช้มาตรการล็อกดาวน์บางส่วน รวมถึงแนะนำให้ประชาชนหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินทางที่ไม่จำเป็น
โดยนายรึตเตอระบุในจดหมายถึงรัฐสภาว่ารับรู้ถึงการเสด็จประพาสของทั้งสองพระองค์ แต่ตระหนักช้าเกินไปว่าการเสด็จเยือนกรีซไม่เป็นไปตามมาตรการคุมเข้มเพื่อป้องกันและยับยั้งการแพร่ระบาดของโรคโควิด-19 พร้อมย้ำว่าตนขอรับผิดชอบกับสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นทั้งหมด
