ยึด “โคเคน” ล็อตใหญ่สุดในโลก - เอเอฟพี และ บีบีซี รายงานวันที่ 25 ก.พ. ว่า ทางการเยอรมนีและเบลเยียมแถลงยึด โคเคน ล็อตใหญ่น้ำหนักรวมกันกว่า 23 ตัน และมีมูลค่าหลายแสนล้านบาท
ศุลกากรเยอรมนีระบุว่าพบโคเคนน้ำหนัก 16 ตัน ซุกซ่อนในกระป๋องสารอุดรอยรั่วมากกว่า 1,700 กระป๋อง บรรจุใส่ตู้สินค้าคอนเทนเนอร์ 5 ตู้ส่งจากปารากวัยมายังท่าเรือเมืองฮัมบูร์กเมื่อต้นเดือนก.พ. ถือเป็นโคเคนล็อตใหญ่ที่สุดในยุโรป รวมทั้งเป็นการยึดโคเคนในครั้งเดียวที่มีปริมาณมากที่สุดในโลก และมีมูลค่าราว 54,700-127,800 ล้านบาท
ขณะที่ศุลกากรเบลเยียมแถลงว่าพบโคเคน 7.2 ตันซุกซ่อนในบล็อกไม้บรรจุตู้คอนเทนเนอร์ 1 ตู้ ส่งจากปานามามายังท่าเรือเมืองแอนต์เวิร์ปและเตรียมส่งต่อไปเนเธอร์แลนด์ ทางการเบลเยียมจึงประสานไปยังตำรวจเนเธอร์แลนด์และสามารถจับกุมชายวัย 28 ปี ผู้ต้องสงสัยพัวพันกับการขนโคเคนดังกล่าว
