กองทัพเมียนมาขู่ม็อบ - วันที่ 15 ก.พ. บีบีซี รายงานความคืบหน้าเหตุการณ์ความไม่สงบใน เมียนมา ที่ตึงเครียดขึ้นว่า ในขณะที่มวลชนจำนวนมากรวมตัวเดินขบวนประท้วงการก่อ รัฐประหาร ติดต่อกันเป็นวันที่สิบ กองทัพเมียนมาได้โพสต์แถลงการณ์ผ่านเว็บไซต์ มีเนื้อหาบางส่วนระบุเดินหน้าใช้กฎหมายใหม่เพื่อควบคุมสถานการณ์การประท้วง

 

บุคคลใดก็ตามที่กระทำการกีดกันเจ้าหน้าที่จากการปฏิบัติหน้าที่ อาจต้องโทษจำคุกสูงสุด 7 ปี ส่วนบุคคลใดก็ตามที่ปลุกปั่นให้สังคมเกิดความหวาดกลัวและความไม่สงบเรียบร้อย มีระวางโทษจำคุก 3 ปี

 

นอกจากนี้ยังเตือนผู้ประท้วงว่าอาจได้รับโทษจำคุกสูงถึง 20 ปีหากขัดขวางเจ้าหน้าที่ความมั่นคง ยังไม่รวมถึงโทษจำคุกระยะยาวและโทษปรับขั้นเด็ดขาดกับผู้กระทำผิดฐานยุยงให้เกิดความเกลียดชังหรือหมิ่นประมาทแกนนำคณะรัฐประหาร
