โควิด: นายกฯ อิตาลีไฟเขียว - รอยเตอร์ รายงานวันที่ 16 พ.ค. ว่า นายกรัฐมนตรีจูเซปเป คอนเต ผู้นำอิตาลี ลงนามในกฤษฎีกาอนุญาตเปิดการเดินทางทั้งภายในและระหว่างประเทศ โดยจะเริ่มบังคับใช้ในวันที่ 3 มิ.ย.ที่จะถึงนี้ หลังสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของ โรคโควิด-19 ในอิตาลีดีขึ้น
แม้ยังมีผู้ติดเชื้อใหม่รายวันสูงถึง 789 คน และส่งผลให้ยอดผู้ป่วยสะสมเพิ่มเป็น 223,885 คน แต่ตัวเลขผู้เสียชีวิตรายวันลดลงต่อเนื่อง ในช่วง 24 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมาพบผู้เสียชีวิต 242 คน และยอดผู้เสียชีวิตรวมอยู่ที่ 31,610 คน
ถือเป็นความเคลื่อนไหวล่าสุดของนโยบายผ่อนมาตรการล็อกดาวน์ขั้นเด็ดขาดที่รัฐบาลอิตาลีบังคับใช้มานานกว่า 2 เดือน เพื่อเร่งแก้วิกฤตเศรษฐกิจทรุดตัวและปูทางสู่กระบวนการกลับเข้าสู่ภาวะปกติในอนาคต
